Chapel Down Pinot Noir Rosé is a delicate wine with aromas of cranberry; citrus; and raspberry. The texture is light and almost weightless on the palate; with a long; fresh finish.
The light and delicate character of this wine will make it a natural partner with shellfish.
Our winemaking team are continually experimenting with different varieties and styles, releasing limited parcels under the ‘Discovery Series’ label. This collection of vibrant English wines celebrates the art of English winemaking.
This delicate rosé is our first 100% Pinot Noir rosé wine. The majority of our Pinot Noir fruit is reserved for our sparkling wines, however the exceptional vintage gave near perfect conditions from which to produce a stunning single varietal rosé expression.

Foxbury Fields Bacchus 2021 (6 Bottles) Ledbury, Herefordshire, England

Foxbury Fields Bacchus is a pale lime green aromatic dry white wine. The wine offers complex aromas of elderflower layered with Kiwi, grass and a herbal overlay. Well balanced with length on the palate this is a classic English Bacchus.
Created in 1933 by viticulturalist Peter Morio by crossing Silvaner x Riesling with Muller-Thurgau varieties to create a grape that produces a fine white wine. Originating in Germany, Bacchus has increasingly been grown in the United Kingdom. The climate being colder means the grapes tend to have increased levels of acidity compared to their German counterparts, giving a new flavour take on a classic German grape by keeping the flavor from becoming too intense or sugary.

Originally from the German region of Pfalz, Bacchus was created in the 30s as a cross between Silvaner, Riesling and Müller-Thurgau. The skin fermented method applied to such aromatic varietals results in a wine with super powerful aromas of grapefruit, grass and tropical fruit. The palate is dry and crisp with soft tannins and a long citrussy finish. A very food friendly wine!
Winemaker's Notes: Not your typical white wine, a wine for the lovers of 'orange wines'. Small parcels of very ripe and rare (in England) Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat grapes were fermented on skins in the same way as you would a red wine for 7 days before being pressed. Only 500 bottles produced.
