Made from 100% Bacchus grapes, this fresh and zesty wine is intensely aromatic with tropicality, minerality and characteristic English hedgerow notes. Best served lightly chilled.
TASTING: Clear, pale lemon / light straw in colour.
NOSE: A heady nose of elderflower with an abundance of citrus, guava and blackcurrant leaves.
PALATE: A fresh and zesty wine, with a balanced, rounded body. Crisp acidity adds excellent structure to the palate and lifts the light tropical and citrus character. Perfect with seafood.
Furleigh Estate West Dorset Chardonnay 2023 (6 Bottles) Bridport, Dorset, England

Star-bright pale lemon hue and well-defined legs. It has pronounced aromas of ripe Cox's apples, yellow plum and hints of pineapple plus creamy notes of custard.
The palate is mellow and flavourful with a creamy texture and soft acidity. Flavours of Russet apple, quince and pineapple combine with hints of vanilla and creamed coconut on the finish. it has wonderful depth of flavour, great balance and a silky elegance.
Good served slightly chilled with meaty fish such as salt-baked cod or local fish and chips. Also good with roast chicken and thyme-scented sauteed potatoes. It works well with pastry dishes like salmon-en-croute and can even stands up to smoked fish dishes such as smoked haddock timbale or mild curried fish kedgeree.

Hambledon Première Cuvée Rosé (6 Bottles) Hambledon, Hampshire, England

Our first Première Cuvée Rosé is a blend based on the 2016 harvest. The style is a more vinous and gastronomic version of rosé based on the saignée method. A longer lees ageing – the wine was bottled in 2017 and disgorged in 2022 – gives the depth and complexity worthy of our Première range.
The colour is a delicate strawberry pink, with just a suggestion of bronze and onion skin. The bouquet springs from the glass, immediate and assertive, rich with sweet summer raspberry fruit and subtle autumnal blackberry.

The wine showcases a delightfully delicate golden hue, bursting with aromas and flavours of honeyed red apples. This is our second release of sparkling rosé. Pressed, fermented, and bottled at Offbeat Wines by Daniel Ham, our winemaker. The grapes were hand-harvested and a whole bunch pressed. The wine underwent secondary fermentation in the bottle and then spent 18 months on its yeast lees and a further 6 months ‘on cork’. Released June 2023. This is a 100% pinot-based rosé — a departure from our first which contained a blend of chardonnay and pinot.
