Our 2018 ‘Alwyn’ Classic Cuvée is named after a Saxon nobleman and first known resident of the original Saxon manor of Chilworth. Pale straw in colour, the 2018 vintage abounds with toasty brioche notes on the nose and delivers a warm and rich mid-palate depth with a long and perfectly balanced finish.
It can be enjoyed as an aperitif as well as an accompaniment to a meal.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

A concentrated and polished English Pinot Noir from our Sussex vineyards. The 2023 vintage is a classic: juicy, crunchy, vibrant and all held in an elegant structure.
Juicy, crunchy, vibrant Pinot Noir all held in an elegant, very ‘classic’ structure. Concentrated brambles (blackberry) and black cherry, damson fruit overlaid with quintessential Pinot perfumed aromatics and subtle dry spice. Subtle fennel and violet give further aromatic complexity and intrigue.
Medium-light, chalky tannins give the wine great texture, acidity is refreshing but well-integrated and harmonious. Long, complete finish with all components pulling-together to the end.
The Burgundy clones used lend this wine perfumed aromatics and subtle dry spice. At home alongside seasonal game or earthy, slow-cooked vegetarian dishes. Suitable to drink now but has potential to age for a further five years.
Litmus Element 20 Chardonnay 2018 (6 Bottles) Dorking, Surrey, England

The 2018 Element 20 is made solely from Chardonnay fermented, and aged in 2- to 5-year-old French oak barriques for 12 months and left on full lees prior to bottling in September.
Complex, mature, elegant, and stylish there is a flintiness on the nose that carries through to a gracefully oaked full-bodied wine with a balancing acidity and a fine long, creamy, and persistent finish that pairs well with seafood and vegetarian dishes.

An off-dry English sparkling wine with refined fruit character. It has a pale golden hue with a steady stream of tiny bubbles.
Floral aromas of almond blossom and honeysuckle dance on the nose, with fragrant stone fruits including yellow nectarine and quince. It has the scent of summer meadows alongside attractive aromas of freshly baked shortbread and sweet brioche. The palate is off-dry with honeyed fruit, sweet apple compote and stewed medlar. It has a wonderful creamy mousse and a silky texture as smooth as panna cotta.
There are hints of frangipane and bakewell tart with a tasty layer of sweet almond paste running through it. It has balancing acidity to counteract the sweetness so the result is exquisitely off-dry with a lingering finish.
Perfect for celebrations such as christenings or a baby shower, or simply enjoy it with afternoon tea. Serve well-chilled in a flute alongside sweet canapés such as mini strawberry short-cake or individual fruit tarts. Also good with creamy fruit desserts such as summer trifle or panna cotta with a red berry coulis. During the early years, Bodegas Lustau operated as an ‘Almacenista’. The Lustau family began bottling their own sherries and exporting by 1950. In the 1980s they expanded their range and introduced the Almacenista range concept of buying and maturing casks from small bodegas to share excellent quality names and styles with enthusiasts around the world. Bodegas Lustau is considered a world-class benchmark for top-quality wines.
The Lustau Vermut Rojo NV is a stunning representation of the traditional Spanish vermouth, showcasing the unique and complex flavours of Jerez. On the nose, aromas of ripe red berries, dried fruits, and warm spices dance delicately, with a subtle hint of bitter orange peel lingering in the background. The deep ruby color of the wine is a feast for the eyes, inviting you to take a sip. In addition to working with his wife Núria Altés on their ambitious joint project in Terra Alta, Herència Altés, Rafael De Haan has spent the last 10 years sourcing wines across Spain for his excellent négociant business, Bodegas Abanico. In the process he fell in love with the diverstiy of Spanish terroir, especially some lesser-known appellations and unusual varietals. This inspired him to launch the De Haan Altés Custom Cuvées project; Rafael partners with local winemakers he has known for years to craft unique, exceptionally-made cuvees that are the ultimate expressions of their respective terroirs.
Straw colour with a steely green rim. Bright and clean. Varied aromas, fruit and citrus predominating, apple and stone-fruit hints, with some flower notes. Tasty and well-structured in the mouth. Intense aftertaste with fruity and floral hints.
