Dedham Vale Reserve Red Blend NV (6 Bottles) Colchester, Essex, England

An exciting ruby red medium-bodied English wine. Dedham Vale Reserve yields inviting red berry aromas while developing complex flavours of redcurrants, raspberries and liquorice, leavened by gentle tannins from time spent ageing in French Limousine oak barrels that linger lovingly on the palate.
It is made by blending four different varieties of grape - Rondo, Dornfelder, Dunkelfelder and Pinot Noir. It is drinking well now at 16°C and will develop over the coming years. The Reserve is a perfect accompaniment to all meat and pasta dishes and an imaginative alternative to Claret.

This white wine starts with a floral and citrus nose and have aromas of citrus, pear, grapefruit and green apple. Is refreshing on the palate and has a long finish.
Merstone Pinot Blanc pairs perfectly with creamy pasta and dishes and soft cheeses or can be enjoyed on its own.
Our Pinot Blanc is made from hand-picked grapes, harvested in early October 2023. The Pinot Blanc grapes from Oxfordshire were gently pressed in our winery on the same day. The pale yellow juice was fermented partialy in a stainless steel tank and a third vintage oak barrel from Burgundy, before being bottled in May 2024. The wine is unfiltered, unfined and vegan friendly.

Furleigh Estate Bacchus Dry 2023 (6 Bottles) Bridport, Dorset, England

A wonderfully refreshing, crisp dry white wine with zesty fruit appeal. Bright pale lemon-green with a few legs.
Brilliantly aromatic with floral scents of elderflower and apple blossom combined with gooseberry and greengage plus hints of Sicillian lemon. It also has herbaceous notes of freshly cut grass and wild nettles on the nose.
The palate is delightfully zesty and fresh with citrus flavours of lemon peel and grapefruit alongside gooseberry and passionfruit. There are herbal notes of lemongrass and parsley, followed by a touch of salty minerality on the finish. It is beautifully balanced with uplifting lime acidity and nice length.
Perfect served chilled with seafood such as ‘moules marinères' or flat fish such as lemon sole, plaice, brill or turbot. Enjoy it with goats cheese, or asparagus drizzled with lemon butter. Also good with Japanese sushi and pickled ginger, but go easy on the wasabi. Try it with Scandinavian pickled fish such as soused herrings or rollmops.

Monte del Frà (meaning ‘land of the monks’) gets its name from the late 15th century, when a group of Friars formed a monastery on the land. Some hundred years later, the friars leased 25 hectares for the cultivation of vineyards and fruit trees. You can, in fact, still see this document today in the Vienna’s historic library. Fast forward several centuries, and Monte del Frà is now in the very capable hands of the Bonomo family. For over six decades the family have farmed this land, now resting firmly with the third generation; Marica, Silvia and Massimo Bonomo.
A lightly aromatic dry white wine. Straw yellow, with pale green highlights. Fruity, white flowers and green apple. Flavour Dry, tangy and well-balanced.

This family-owned boutique winery was founded in 1995 and dedicates itself to the production of super-premium, sites pecific red wine made in small volumes. Originally from Germany, the Glaetzer family settled in Australia in the late 19th century and were some of the earliest recorded viticulturalists in the Barossa Valley and Clare Valley. Today the winery is run by internationally acclaimed winemaker Ben Glaetzer, who is responsible for driving the brand’s considerable loyal following.
Glaetzer Wallace takes on the traditional Barossa Valley blend of Shiraz and Grenache in a modern way. The Shiraz brings backbone, flesh and body to the wine with the Grenache adding a soft, vibrant juiciness. The former will see a bit of oak while the latter remains unoaked to retains freshness. Hints of red currant, clove and spice on the nose. Fresh juiciness on the palate combines with supple tannin and pronounced flavours of liquorice and mulberry. Established in 1692, Hartenberg Estate should need little introduction, as one of South Africa’s oldest wineries. This Cabernet offers up everything you`d hunt for in Bordeaux, yet this red is from South Africa`s Hardenberg. Deep black in colour with cigar box, pencil shavings and truffle overlaying the ripe, rich red and black fruit beneath. Judicious use of oak and good acidity provides an impressive structure which this pure fruit clings to, offering lingering, fine tannins on the finish.
