Bright, elegant acidity matches with the juicy fruit to create a delicious, vibrant wine, with floral hints of rose and some red cherry pie. There’s a touch of spice from the lees ageing. During the early years, Bodegas Lustau operated as an ‘Almacenista’. The Lustau family began bottling their own sherries and exporting by 1950. Aged following an oxidative ageing for 12 years in Bodega La Campana in Jerez de la Frontera. Dark bronze colour with golden rim. Pungent nutty aromas with a smoky wood background. Rich flavours of bitter chocolate, walnuts and baked chestnuts. This Oloroso wine has an intense, concentrated aftertaste, lightened by a tangy acidity.

Juicy, crunchy, vibrant Pinot Noir all held in an elegant, very ‘classic’ structure. Concentrated brambles (blackberry) and black cherry, damson fruit overlaid with quintessential Pinot perfumed aromatics and subtle dry spice. Subtle fennel and violet give further aromatic complexity and intrigue. Medium-light, chalky tannins give the wine great texture, acidity is refreshing but well-integrated and harmonious. Long, complete finish with all components pulling-together to the end.

The sixth release, our 2015 Blanc de Blancs is a standout wine that we are incredibly proud of. Awarded an impressive 93 points by Decanter Magazine, it featured in their November 2023 issue as one of the "Best English Wines to Try This Christmas". This wine is a true testament to our dedication to crafting exceptional English wines and makes a great gift for any wine lover.
The grapes were crushed and destemmed before fermenting. Part of the wine was fermented and aged in used oak barrels with the remainder in stainless steel tanks. Both batches went through malolactic fermentation. It was bottled for secondary fermentation in July 2016 and has matured on lees for 6 years.
