Made entirely from our own grown Pinot varieties, this wine is a mix of 45% Pinot Noir (mix of clones), 40% Pinot Noir Precoce and 15% Pinot Meunier. With our warm summer of 2022 the result is an intoxicating aroma of red summer fruit produce.
On the mouth the first taste is distinctly of ripe raspberries and loganberries followed by pomegranate and perhaps some red currant. The wine leaves a smooth and rounded finish. This is well balanced and a delight to drink on a summer’s afternoon – with or without food!
Bluestone Saignee Rosé 2020 (6 Bottles) Cholderton, Wiltshire, England

Hand-picked into small 10kg crates. Whole cluster press. Fermentation: Inoculated, 10 days. Full MLF. Small component barrel fermented.
A blend of 60.5% Pinot Noir, 37% Chardonnay and 2.5% Pinot Meunier, made in the Saignée method, this intensely coloured wine is bled off following contact with the skins. Saignée sparkling rosés often have deep colours and powerful, complex flavour profiles.
The nose immediately draws you in, with wild strawberries and macerated red berry flavours that recall the very ripest red berries of the summer. There are also hints of cherry shortbread and winter spice.

A luminous golden-amber hue greets the eye, radiating the rustic elegance of this handcrafted gem from the Amber Valley.On the nose, a symphony of aromas unfolds: ripe apricot and zesty tangerine are complemented by a whisper of vanilla and a delicate hint of cedar, offering an inviting bouquet that teases the senses. The palate delivers an adventurous medley of flavors. Bright citrus zest mingles with succulent apricot and lush tropical pineapple, harmonized by a textured, tannic grip that adds depth and structure. A subtle Fino-like oxidative note enhances its complexity, making this a wine of remarkable character and intrigue.
With its 11% alcohol content and a style rooted in tradition yet full of modern allure, Amber Wine is perfect for the discerning wine lover seeking something distinctive. Anthonij Rupert Wyne was founded on the farm, L’Ormarins in Franschhoek. Originally owned by the late Anthonij Rupert, who passed away in 2001, the farm was eventually taken over by his brother Johann Rupert in 2003 and the brand named after him. It was Johann Rupert who constructed a state-of-theart winemaking facility, catapulting the farm into a prestigious wine estate. The focus is on terroir specific wines and therefore it would seem obvious that the brand is made up of an impressive portfolio of farms representing the best in grape producing locations. The portfolio is made up of L’Ormarins from Franschhoek, Rooderust from Darling, Riebeeksrivier from the Swartland and Altima from isolated Elandskloof. Each site offers optimum varietal specific growing conditions, allowing Anthonij Rupert Wyne to adhere to the requirements of their different brands.
The nose is vibrant with abundant cherry and strawberry notes, complemented by subtle floral and citrus nuances. On the palate, intense flavours of raspberry, cherry, and strawberry emerge, offering a lively, succulent freshness balanced by a smooth, well-rounded body. A delicate hint of citrus, reminiscent of pink grapefruit, mirrors the nose and enhances the wine’s overall charm. The finish is long and lingering, leaving a lasting impression.
