‘Il Folle’ in Italian means the mad one, a wild and gregarious joker. These wines embody the best of the Sicilian landscape and warm southern character, resulting in wines brim-full of freshness and flavour. All of these wines are certified organic and represent stunning value for money.
Brimming with the warmth and richness of southern Sicily, this full-bodied red is a bold yet elegant expression of the island’s character. Deep, inviting aromas of cassis, and a touch of vanilla rise from the glass, layered with subtle hints of wood smoke. The palate is generous and fruit-driven, unfolding into dark cherries and ripe berries, with a long, velvety finish.

A lightly oaked chardonnay blend, dry with a round palate of pear, peach, yellow apple, and citrus fruit. Creamy, butterscotch notes with a good use of light oak showing vanilla and toast, adding structure and complexity. This is a voluptuous wine with a rich long finish. Our ever-popular Pet Nat is back! A purely natural wine, fermented by natural yeasts with no added sulphites. It is a light, refreshing, slightly cloudy sparkling wine and is absolutely the perfect summer drink. We bottled during harvest while the wine was still frementing, keeping a light fizz in the bottle. It has a slight yeast sediment adding a great yeasty edge to the fruit aromas. The wine will gain yeasty aromas as it ages.
This is a natural wine in every way and is difficult to make, so we only use the best grapes available to us that we know will end up with the right flavours and balance in the wine.

This delicate rosé is our first 100% Pinot Noir rosé wine. The majority of our Pinot Noir fruit is reserved for our sparkling wines, however the exceptional vintage gave near perfect conditions from which to produce a stunning single varietal rosé expression.

This white wine starts with a floral and citrus nose and have aromas of citrus, pear, grapefruit and green apple. Is refreshing on the palate and has a long finish.
Merstone Pinot Blanc pairs perfectly with creamy pasta and dishes and soft cheeses or can be enjoyed on its own.
Our Pinot Blanc is made from hand-picked grapes, harvested in early October 2023. The Pinot Blanc grapes from Oxfordshire were gently pressed in our winery on the same day. The pale yellow juice was fermented partialy in a stainless steel tank and a third vintage oak barrel from Burgundy, before being bottled in May 2024. The wine is unfiltered, unfined and vegan friendly.

Albarino was planted by the Nicholas family here in Kent after many holidays in Galicia in Spain. In warm years such as 2022 is ripens with a high natural acidity and beautifully lean style which cannot be made anywhere else. Chapel Down were the first winemaker to produce an English Albariño.
