The Nightjar reserve pinot noir is made using grapes sourced from Clayhill Vineyard in Essex. Our Vintage is crafted only in exceptional years, such as 2018, when we believe the concentration, ripeness and maturity of fruit will deliver an exceptional wine for extended ageing. This Chardonnay and Seyval Blanc based sparkling wine is quintessentially English; an English garden in a glass! Aromas of freshly picked pears, apples, garden herbs and a touch of gooseberry that's accentuated on the palate, accompanied by a slight floral character that lingers on the finish. Ideal for drinking on its own, but with enough crisp acidity to pair well with foods such as smoked fish, a cheese starter (try a goat's cheese salad) or garden picnic.
Hungerhill Merstone Pinot Blanc 2023 (6 Bottles) Bedford, Bedfordshire, England

This white wine starts with a floral and citrus nose and have aromas of citrus, pear, grapefruit and green apple. Is refreshing on the palate and has a long finish.
Merstone Pinot Blanc pairs perfectly with creamy pasta and dishes and soft cheeses or can be enjoyed on its own.
Our Pinot Blanc is made from hand-picked grapes, harvested in early October 2023. The Pinot Blanc grapes from Oxfordshire were gently pressed in our winery on the same day. The pale yellow juice was fermented partialy in a stainless steel tank and a third vintage oak barrel from Burgundy, before being bottled in May 2024. The wine is unfiltered, unfined and vegan friendly.
