A celebratory treat in a special edition elegant Magnum format.
This “field blend” wine showcases the unique terroir of Nutbourne – combining the soil, the geography and the climate of our special corner of West Sussex. There is no other wine in the world to replicate it.
With tremendous freshness and wild fruit flavours, it is crisp, dry, and aromatic, combining our old vine Riesling-style German varietals with Pinot Noir. Perfect to drink on its own but also has enough zing to stand up to spicy foods, lighter game birds or a wholesome fish pie.
The art: Just as Nutbourne wines are only made from grapes grown on the estate, every bottle features Bridget Gladwin’s paintings. This painting depicts the striking double-curtain trellising system in Winter. The individual vine stands as a sculpture, a thing of beauty and nobility in its own right.
About Nutbourne Vineyards
Nutbourne Vineyard is a family-run boutique estate in West Sussex, renowned for producing award-winning still and sparkling wines. Every step of the winemaking process, from grape to glass, takes place on-site, ensuring exceptional quality and authenticity. Owned by the Gladwin family since 1991, Nutbourne has become one of the finest boutique wine producers in the South East, offering wines that rival the best globally.
Nestled in a unique “terroir,” the estate benefits from a warm microclimate shielded by the South Downs, south-facing slopes, and fertile greensand soil, akin to the Champagne region in France. With 26 acres under vine and innovative trellising systems—Guyot, Scott Henry, and Geneva Double Curtain—the vineyard is meticulously tended year-round. Nutbourne grows eight grape varieties, including Bacchus, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier, used for single varietals and sparkling blends.
The estate features a wine cave, barrel room, and modern winery where all wines are exclusively made. Led by Gregory Gladwin, with guidance from his father Peter and consultant winemaker Emma Rice, Nutbourne produces approximately 50,000 bottles annually, varying by vintage.
Visitors can enjoy guided tours, tastings, and scenic vineyard trails, complete with wildflower meadows, alpacas, and stunning views. Nutbourne wines are available online, at the cellar door, and through independent merchants nationwide. Sustainability is central to operations, with practises promoting biodiversity and reducing environmental impact. Beyond wine, the Gladwin family offers farm produce and serves their wines in their London “Local & Wild” restaurants. Nutbourne welcomes guests to discover the charm of English winemaking.

100% Pinot Noir
A concentrated and polished English Pinot Noir from our Sussex vineyards. The 2023 vintage is a classic: juicy, crunchy, vibrant and all held in an elegant structure.
Juicy, crunchy, vibrant Pinot Noir all held in an elegant, very ‘classic’ structure. Concentrated brambles (blackberry) and black cherry, damson fruit overlaid with quintessential Pinot perfumed aromatics and subtle dry spice. Subtle fennel and violet give further aromatic complexity and intrigue.
Medium-light, chalky tannins give the wine great texture, acidity is refreshing but well-integrated and harmonious. Long, complete finish with all components pulling-together to the end.
The Burgundy clones used lend this wine perfumed aromatics and subtle dry spice. At home alongside seasonal game or earthy, slow-cooked vegetarian dishes. Suitable to drink now but has potential to age for a further five years.

Balfour Luke’s Pinot Noir 2025 (6 Bottles) Tonbridge, Kent, England

Classic cool climate Pinot Noir, delicately aromatic with Red berry fruits, cherry, raspberry and spicy vanilla with soft but firm tannins.
“This isn’t just very good English Pinot Noir it’s simply very good Pinot Noir” is how our Head Winemaker, Fergus Elias, described his newest vintage of Luke’s Pinot Noir, from the superb 2022 harvest.
Inspired by our home, with flavours reminiscent of English cherries and a touch of spice. Coming from vineyards planted specifically for the creation of English Pinot Noir, this wine is rich, ripe and structured.
With our estate’s combination of the prime Wealden clay vineyards, Burgundy clones and careful winemaking, our winemakers have built Balfour’s reputation for producing some of England’s finest red wines. And Luke’s Pinot Noir is a superb example of a style which is growing in reputation and drinking brilliantly right now.
Here’s three reasons to try our new Pinot Noir now:
1. Cool climate excellence: this style is closer to New World Pinot Noir, rather than traditional French examples, but still comes from Burgundy clones. It’s the best of both worlds.
2. Lightly oaked: with judicious use of French and American barrels to add a savoury complexity and depth
3. Very on-trend: English red wine is a really exciting frontier, and this is a critically acclaimed example which is even served in Michelin-starred restaurants.
Our pairing guide: This is a light, summer fruit flavoured red. Our winemaker recommends serving this lightly chilled (just 10 minutes in the fridge before uncorking). The fresh fruit flavours and low tannins mean it will complement, rather than overpower, delicate flavours – making it ideal with white meats, roast vegetables, mushrooms and even herby lamb. Ferg had it with a butterflied leg of lamb marinated in harissa and Moroccan spices cooked on the BBQ and can confirm this pairing is also quite good

A sophisticated blend of 50% Chardonnay, 38% Pinot Noir, and 12% Pinot Meunier, this wine embodies elegance and precision. The Chardonnay-led profile delivers a vibrant fruit focus, while a touch of malolactic fermentation adds a layer of richness and texture, perfectly balanced by the wine’s hallmark freshness.
On the palate, expect a textured and full-bodied experience, supported by bright acidity (8.5g/l) and subtle sweetness (5.4g/l residual sugar). The wine is aged for a minimum of 22 months on lees, enhancing complexity, with an additional 6 months on cork post-disgorgement to ensure perfect integration.
A versatile choice for any occasion. Enjoy as an aperitif with crisps and canapés, or elevate everyday dining by pairing with fried chicken. For a more refined match, complement its freshness and texture with shellfish such as oysters, crab, or prawns.

Knightor Winery Pinot Noir 2023 (6 Bottles) St Austell Bay, Cornwall, England
Free UK Delivery on Orders Over £60
Character: Light, Fruit-forward
Aromas: Cherry, Wild Strawberry, Spice
Flavours: Red Fruits, Gentle Oak
Style: A light and summery English Red.
Food Pairing: Pair with lamb, game, or enjoy on its own.
A pale red Pinot Noir, the colour is deceptive, not revealing the powerful red fruits hidden within. Full of wild red fruit characters on the nose, the palate is soft, with intense red cherry and gentle spice from the time spent on oak. The perfect red for summer, ideal with a BBQ.
Winemaker's Notes: Just the ripest Pinot Noir was used for this light red. The grapes were crushed and fermented partly in tank and partly in barrel. Throughout the ferment regular pump overs were conducted to extract a little more colour and weight. The oaked proportion of the blend then spent a further 12 months in oak before being bottled.
Wine: Still Red
Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
Body: Light
Sweetness: Dry
Alcohol: 12%
