Blackberry and black cherry on the nose, red berry fruits too and subtle musky perfume.
There is gentle baking spice character, reminiscent of demerara sugar – but not sweet! The palate is medium bodied, filled with concentrated berries and baked citrus.
Despite it’s extensive time on lees, the autolysis sits gently, giving elegant texture and pastry on finish. A clean, rich finish.

A fabulous sparkling Blanc de Noirs with great depth of flavour.
The colour is lemon gold with a fine stream of tiny bubbles. Floral aromas of white iris & peony marry stone fruit and cherry on the nose with the mildest touch of vanilla and hazelnut.
The palate is fruit-driven with yellow peach, ripe quince and notes of medlar apple. It has exceptional balance and a persistent mousse with lingering citrus flavours alongside a lovely nutty, pistachio and almond finish.
Excellent served chilled with seafood crustaceans such as Dublin Bay prawns, langoustines or lobster.
Also good with tuna or swordfish. Try it with monkfish wrapped in parma ham. Pairs well with cold meats and mild charcuterie or terrines such as chicken and rabbit terrine. Perfect with beef carpaccio..
Harrow & Hope Blanc de Noirs 2019 (6 Bottles) Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England

After the bold, broad, and almost brutish 2018 release, the 2019 is cut from a different cloth. A cooler and less abundant year suited the Pinot considerably better than the Chardonnay.
80% of this wine is fermented using natural wild yeast in a selection of different-sized oak barrels. It certainly has that signature Pinot intensity but is wrapped in an elegant and refined structure that is a hallmark of 2019. For those who remember 2015, this is very similar in structure and a wine that continues to develop a singular identity that makes it stand out from the crowd, no doubt our most complex wine to date.

A favourite of Maximillan Riedel and used in their masterclasses.
A unique expression of English Pinot Noir at its finest, crafted only in the very best vintage years. Capturing the delights of the stellar 2016 harvest, Ridgeview’s Blanc de Noirs brings together characteristic red-fruit flavours and tantalising complexity. With a full-bodied backbone, it balances power and finesse with a deliciously layered palate. A sparkling wine to turn heads, it pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes, from meaty mains to fresh seafood, and even rich pasta dishes and beyond.
