At Brissenden Vineyard, we nurture our seven acres of established vines with care and patience, crafting fine wines and creating welcoming spaces for our visitors. Our story began in 2017, when we discovered our perfect field in the picturesque Kent countryside.
Our idyllic vineyard offers scenic avenues and aisles ideal for picnics or wine tastings after a tour. We also have a secluded camping ground for friends and family gatherings.
As a family-run business with three generations involved, we prioritize warmth and hospitality. Our team is open, friendly, and dedicated to producing exceptional English Sparkling Wines. 100% Bacchus – a medium dry still white wine.
A cool climate grape variety most similar to a New Zealand Sauvignon blanc. It is characterised by intense aromas of citrus, elderflower and grapefruit combined with a fruity palate of apple, elderflower and herbaceous notes. Our Anne of Cleves wine has a medium dry finish. Tamesis is a collaboration between Blackbook and Forty Hall, London’s only certified organic vineyard. This was the first wine both grown and made in London, in modern times when we initially released the 2018 vintage.
Fermented using natural yeasts in a combination of old French oak barrels and steel tank; followed by naturally occurring malolactic fermentation and aged for 7 months on gross lees. A wine that truly expresses the varietal essence with nuances of elderflower, white peach, and white pepper with touches of sweet spices and tropical fruit. Unfined and unfiltered.

Our Orange Bacchus is a single estate Bacchus sourced from grapes grown in Hawkhurst, Kent and then aged in oak barrels. Orange wine is made in contact with the grape skins in order to extract flavour and texture in a similar way to how red wine is made.

Bacchus grapes are particularly well suited to our High Weald terroir, and produce a fresh, aromatic, crisp white wine. This 2023 vintage shows all the benefits of the long hot summer in the UK last year and is slightly more rounded and nuanced than our previous vintages, with strong aromas of pear and gooseberry on the nose and palate and with a deliciously smooth finish. Alcohol 12%, vegan friendly, organic.
