This is a light medium bodied dry wine. There are aromas of apple, grapefruit, lime and stone fruits, as well as tropical fruits on the palette and a clean fresh finish. Our first release from the 2018 plantings, this limited edition wine is made from 100% Pinot Gris. This still white wine is beautifully rounded, with bright floral notes, delicate pear and stone fruit.
A portion of the wine was matured in French oak barrels and aged for six months to add richness and body.
Perfect when paired with fresh seafood such as crab linguine, scallops or with a platter of antipasti.
The art: Nutbourne wines are a family affair, made only from grapes grown on the estate, and every bottle features a Bridget Gladwin painting on the label, selected to complement the wine. This painting of the Seven Sisters cliffs was created high on the Sussex Downs on a bright, blustery day. it captures a kaleidoscope of colours, freshness and light from the sea, landscape and sky.

A blend of 70% Seyval Blanc, 16% Pinot Blanc and 15% Pinot Gris with fresh aromas of crisp, green apple and a hint of lemon meringue. On the palate there subtle red grapefruit and nectarine with underlying key lime pie characteristics. This is all harmoniously balanced with the sugars, acidity and effervescence leaving the mouthwateringly fresh flavours to linger on the palate.
