The Verhaeghe family have been making wine in the Lot since the 1950s. Today it is Pascal and Jean-Marc in charge of the domaine, which is certified organic. They own three parcels of vineyards, the largest of which is 12.5 acres with stony calcareous clay which is called `Tran`, which plays an important role retaining heat and moisture. Drawing on his winemaking experience from California to Burgundy.

Bodegas Frontonio is the passion project of Fernando Mora MW and oenologist Mario López. The winery is named after Saint Frontonio, the Patron Saint of the village. According to legend, Frontonio was beheaded by the Romans, his head found upstream after it had been thrown into the Ebro. Even once he made waves with his Priorat wines, Álvaro’s pioneering spirit never wavered. In 1997, Álvaro and his nephew Ricardo Pérez Palacios were seduced by the undiscovered potential of the Bierzo region in north-western Spain, a place then better known for agriculture and its gold mining past. Corullón, at an altitude of almost 1000 meters and lies on a tectonic fault. This combination of altitude, old vines and complex geology gives an incredibly intricate, ethereal and spell-binding wine.

Feudi del Pisciotto Nero d’Avola 2024 (6 Bottles) Sicily, Italy

Feudi del Pisciotto is a property located in a rural area of south-eastern Sicily, on the edge of the Sughereta di Niscemi Nature Reserve. The name refers to a small river that flows through the property. The winery and cellars are housed in a historic ‘palmento’ dating to the 18th century. The property and vineyards were all but abandoned before they were bought by famous Italian journalist Paolo Panerai in 2005. The viticultural ideology of Feudi del Pisciotto is based on the philosophy of Giacomo Tachis, who famously proclaimed that “the terroir of Sicily allows any type of vine to be grown successfully, with the right knowledge”.
This Nero d'Avola is bright ruby red in colour, this wine offers aromas of red fruits like black cherry and cherry, complemented by delicate floral notes of violet and myrtle. On the palate, it is fresh, smooth, and velvety, with a beautifully rounded texture.

This family-owned boutique winery was founded in 1995 and dedicates itself to the production of super-premium, sites pecific red wine made in small volumes. Originally from Germany, the Glaetzer family settled in Australia in the late 19th century and were some of the earliest recorded viticulturalists in the Barossa Valley and Clare Valley. Today the winery is run by internationally acclaimed winemaker Ben Glaetzer, who is responsible for driving the brand’s considerable loyal following.
Glaetzer Bishop is a true expression of Barossa Shiraz that is elegantly structured with a long finish. Hints of cut plum, dried spice and dark chocolate on the nose. Isabel Estate is one of the original Marlborough vineyards with some of the oldest vines in the region on original rootstock. Throughout the 1980s the couple planted key noble varietals and began to deliver fruit of exceptional quality, in high demand from premium and internationally renowned wine producers. Under the leadership of Chief Winemaker Jeremy McKenzie, the winery continues to build its reputation for award winning Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir but is also producing world class Chardonnay.
