Champagne Gaston Chiquet has been passed down through eight generations since 1746, when Nicolas Chiquet planted his first vines. Domaine Deux Roches is based in the village of Davayé, in the Mâconnais, and is jointly owned by Jean-Luc Terrier and Christian Collovray. Their 50 hectares of vineyards largely lie between the twin escarpments of Solutré and Vergisson and showcase the diverse terroirs of this region. The wines of Deux Roches are known for their drinkability and offer great value for money.
A delicate floral note opens the nose, giving way to ripe yellow fruits such as peach and apricot. On the palate, these vibrant fruit tones are complemented by a refined, pastry-like richness, lending the wine a subtle depth and elegance in a classic style.

Jérémie Huchet Chapeau Melon Rouge 2024 (6 Bottles) Loire, France

Jérémie Huchet is a fourth-generation winemaker making his mark in Muscadet. Having taken over the family estate in 2001, Jérémie immediately went about purchasing some fantastic vineyards (which now total 64 hectares), and is slowly converting everything to organic viticulture. His white and red Chapeau wines are young wines meant for easy pleasure, while the clean, mineral L`Innatendu Muscadet is an excellent introduction to Jérémie`s vineyards and winemaking style.
The Chapeau Melon Rouge presents a light cherry colour with a nose of ripe red fruits. This dry red wine reveals a pleasant freshness with light tannins. The palate is gourmet, smooth and fruity.

Owned by the Deniau family, Domaine des Vaublins has been a family winery for several generations. Since 2020 the Domaine is in the hands of the current generation Nicolas and Alexandrine, and together with Cedric Allion they are making some excellent wines under his watchful eye. Their 16 hectares of vines are located on the clay and limestone hillsides on the banks of the river Cher.
This Sauvignon Blanc showcases a golden hue adorned with green undertones, displaying impeccable clarity and remarkable depth. Its nose is a one of complexity, boasting exquisite fruit notes of citrus, particularly grapefruit, alongside captivating mineral undertones. Upon aeration, the minerality takes centre stage, reminiscent of gunflint, intertwining gracefully with the hints of freshly squeezed lemon entwined with the essence of white fruit, pear, and green apples. Palacios Remondo La Montesa Crianza 2021 (6 Bottles) Rioja, Spain

Palacios Remondo is a family-owned winery based in Alfaro, in Rioja Oriental, the warmest and most easterly part of the Rioja appellation. The soils here are silty and alluvial and the semi-arid Mediterranean climate is well-suited to growing Garnacha, a variety that is finally coming back into the foreground in this region, after decades of being supplanted by the more popular Tempranillo.
This wine is the epitome of Garnacha of the region, plump and generous, with layers of red fruit, subtle spicing and lively freshness. A very long, complete finish, with a savoury sign off to balance.
