The latest release of our highly successful Classic Cuvée Brut that was originally released in 2019, and sold out quickly.
This new release is made from grapes from the excellent 2019 and 2020 vintages. Made from a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, secondary fermentation in bottle followed by 24 months gaining complexity on lees. The wine therefore benefits from some lovely bottle age and is ready to be enjoyed now. 12% ABV.

Chilcomb Valley Vineyard is a family-run haven on the South Downs in Hampshire, dedicated to crafting exceptional English sparkling wines. Our vineyard’s unique terroir, with its chalk substrate identical to that found in Champagne, provides the perfect canvas for our artisanal winemaking approach. Since planting our 1.1-hectare vineyard in 2016, we’ve enjoyed increasingly successful harvests, with our 2023 vintage yielding an impressive 14 tonnes of exceptional fruit. This Brut Sparkling wine is made using the methode champenoise. It has spent time on its lees generating a refreshing lively mousse (the French term for the bubbles that rise to the top of a sparkling wine), good depth on the palate with attractive fresh fruit flavours and yeasty overtones.
Pristine with persistent bubbles and cream texture. Toast and citrus fruit with balsamic notes. Very long fresh gooseberry finish.

The 2019 vintage of Forty Hall Vineyard's Sparkling Brut is made in the traditional 'Champagne' method from organically grown Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes, tended and harvested by hand by the volunteers at Forty Hall Vineyard in North London.
Our wines are made for us by multi award-winning English wine maker, Will Davenport and reflect the best of low-intervention, natural English winemaking.
