About Cobble Hill Winery
For generations, the Perowne family has farmed the land in North Norfolk. Robert Perowne’s dream of planting a vineyard finally came to fruition in 2016. Three varieties were carefully selected: Pinot Noir, Bacchus, and Chardonnay. Our boutique vineyard, overlooking the stunning North Norfolk coast, spans 3.6 hectares. Our wines have gained recognition, with our wines winning many awards.
With the help of the European Agricultural Fund, we’ve restored an old barn into a state-of-the-art winery. Our winemaker, Chris Hatto, has guided us in producing around 20,000 bottles of still and sparkling wine annually. Today, our wines feature on the lists of top North Norfolk restaurants. We’re proud to share our passion for winemaking with you.

Our Pinot Rosé wine is now available to order. A truly delightful and refreshing summer wine!
Made entirely from our own grown Pinot varieties, this wine is a mix of 45% Pinot Noir (mix of clones), 40% Pinot Noir Precoce and 15% Pinot Meunier. With our warm summer of 2023 the result is an intoxicating aroma of red summer fruit produce.
On the mouth the first taste is distinctly of ripe raspberries and loganberries followed by pomegranate and perhaps some red currant. The wine leaves a smooth and rounded finish. This is well balanced and a delight to drink on a summer’s afternoon – with or without food!

All our wines are vegan friendly. This wine has been made following low-intervention techniques, which means that a little, non-harmful deposit can be seen in some bottles.
This wine is made from a small parcel of Stanlake Park’s Pinot Noir grapes, enabling an extraordinary balance between freshness and fruitiness.
Made with handpicked grapes, a short maceration on the skins extracts a delicate colour, with fermentation taking place at a cool temperature in stainless steel tanks to retain freshness. Released after only a few months of maturation. Unfiltered, so a small deposit can occur in some bottles – this is totally natural and harmless.
Keep horizontally in a dry and dark place, away from heat, sunlight and vibrations.
