This delicious organic Chardonnay from Greece, was our first ever guest producer. Another example of how this magnificent grape can taste different (again) in another climate or from a different terroir. This has enough ‘classic chard’ to please traditionalists, but real intrigue via lemon and mountain herb notes to interest the keenest of inquisitive palettes. From France this would be twice the price…..

Cousins Charlie and Will, driven by a shared passion for winemaking, took the reins of their family’s estate to craft exceptional wines in limited quantities. Charlie traded his camera for a vineyard, discovering the land’s potential for world-class sparkling wine. Will, with his military and diplomatic background, brought valuable expertise to the venture. Our flagship wine, Lady Elizabeth, has garnered critical acclaim, validating our conviction. This single varietal wine is the first in a series of limited production releases.
We proudly honour our family’s lineage, featuring our Coat of Arms, granted in 1792 by King George III, on our labels. Elegant and understated, our labels reveal depth and luxury upon closer inspection.

As its name suggests this wine is made of selected base wines from multiple vintages to produce an approachable and immediately enjoyable style. A captivating debut still white wine from Black Chalk, ‘Rumour Has It’ showcases the essence of Kent’s vineyards with a distinctly Black Chalk twist. This Chardonnay, crafted from four tonnes of premium fruit sourced from a trusted friend’s vineyard in Kent, offers a soft, rounded texture courtesy of full malolactic fermentation. A blend of stainless-steel and 30% new French oak fermentation lends the wine a harmonious balance between fresh purity and subtle oak influence.
The palate brims with bright fruit flavors, beautifully integrated with a creamy mouthfeel, delivering a wine of elegance, balance, and unmistakable character.

A Chardonnay that just keeps getting better and better! Fresh and bright on the nose and mouth, with lemon, citrus zest and a lovely savoury salinity. This Chardonnay is a real winner to enjoy on it’s own or alongside fish and chicken dishes served with creamy lemon and dill sauces. Is your mouth watering yet?
The fruit was picked mid October, de-stemmed and pressed with partial wild yeast fermentation with over 70% in oak barrels, 5.4% of it new, and the rest of the ferment in stainless steel.
The 2022 was one of those glorious wine grape growing years. Spring started out mild and frost free. Summer brought so much sun along with the heat and drought, the clay soils loved it! Autumn was kind enough to offer a bountiful harvest and perfect ripeness for our still wines.
