About Cotswold Hills
Nestled in Down Ampney, near Cirencester, our six-acre vineyard was planted in 2010. The south-facing field is home to 40 rows of vines, primarily Ortega grapes, alongside Bacchus, Chardonnay, and Seyval. These varieties blend together to create our still dry white wine and fizzy cans.
Our Cotswold Hills wine range boasts an award-winning still white Ortega 2023, a white blend 2023, a still Ortega rosé 2023, and a Sparkling white 2020. We also offer a unique canned white wine with bubbles, perfect for summer picnics.
The Royal Agricultural University (RAU) is proud to be associated with Cotswold Hills. Our award-winning Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Programme fosters innovation and supports students in developing their business ideas. The RAU is recognised as a Centre of Excellence by the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (IOEE), highlighting our commitment to entrepreneurial skills development.
