Denbies Wine Estate is England’s largest single estate vineyard located in the picturesque Surrey Hills, Denbies Wine Estate is one of England’s most renowned single estate vineyards. Established in 1986, the estate spans 627 acres, with 265 acres under vine, producing up to 1 million bottles annually.

As its name suggests this wine is made of selected base wines from multiple vintages to produce an approachable and immediately enjoyable style. This sweet vermouth has been hand-crafted from distilled Sauvignon wine, blended with Pinot Noir and carefully selected botanical infusions of herbs, spices and citrus peel.
Beautifully bitter wormwood aromas are intertwined with dark notes of cacao and coffee, creamy undertones of vanilla, earthy rooibos tea leaves, and sweetness from caramelised Albury honey. A warming melange of spices including cassia bark, orange peel, nutmeg and ginger are underpinned by herbal flavours of honeybush leaf, lemon balm and meadowsweet for added complexity.

Wild Rose Sparkling Rosé captivates with its delicate wild-rose pink hue, exuding elegance and complexity. On the nose, vibrant aromas of ripe red berries intertwine with subtle floral nuances.
The palate is a delightful balance of freshness and bright fruit, with luscious notes of strawberries and raspberries complemented by a soft, creamy texture, a result of partial malolactic fermentation. This harmonious interplay concludes with a beautifully long, refined finish.
Aged for a minimum of 22 months on lees and rested an additional six months on cork post-disgorgement, this sparkling rosé demonstrates exceptional maturity and finesse.
Wild Rose shines alongside sashimi and maki rolls, enhanced by the salty tang of soy sauce and the zing of fresh ginger. It also pairs effortlessly with charcuterie boards and cheese platters. Woodhouse Pinot is a light and fruity red with lovely complexities and exceedingly moreish!
The demand for red wines in the UK is high, and we created this multi vintage wine to take advantage of those years that are very kind, providing heaps of ripe red fruit, as well as those years where it is a bit more of a struggle.
Each year we will add to a perpetual reserve, much like the soleras system used for making sherry, whereby we partially remove wine from barrels each year for bottling, then top up those same barrels with wine from the current vintage.
This not only blends the wine for a fairly consistent flavour profile, but is also gives the wine an opportunity to become more balanced as each vintage comes and goes. From tannins and acidity, to fruity notes and savoury notes. Bottled un-fined and un-filtered.
Enjoy at lunch or dinner with many different foods or all on it’s own. This delightful red wine may be a little too easy drinking!
