Bursting with fresh, ripe orchard fruits, this wine is crisp and refreshing with tongue-tingling flavours throughout. It pairs wonderfully with pork or chicken but is also tremendous as an aperitif.
About Dunesforde Vineyard
Dunesforde Vineyard’s story began over a decade ago, inspired by the vineyards of Tuscany. Our journey took us from Italy to Yorkshire, where we discovered a site with ideal conditions for growing cool-climate wines. With expert advice, we carefully selected vine varietals and rootstocks to match our soil and climate. Our vineyard lies near the historic Roman town of Aldborough, where Romans once planted vines. We like to think that our vineyard is a continuation of this ancient tradition. Our wines are made from Bacchus, Solaris, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and other varietals, carefully crafted to showcase the unique characteristics of our cool-climate terroir.
We’re proud to offer a range of still and sparkling wines, including our award-winning Queen of the North, named in honour of the ancient Queen Cartimandua. Our tasting rooms, inspired by Roman architecture, offer a unique wine experience with stunning views of the vineyard. This Court Garden Ditchling White is a delicious blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Ortega. The varieties were fermented and aged in stainless steel to retain the clean aromas and soft fruit notes and then blended to create this delicious single-vineyard estate white wine. This is a light medium bodied dry wine. There are aromas of apple, grapefruit, lime and stone fruits, as well as tropical fruits on the palette and a clean fresh finish. Enjoy with grilled chicken, fish and seafood pasta dishes or on its own.

Nutbourne Pinot Gris 2022 (6 Bottles) Pulborough, West Sussex, England

Our first release from the 2018 plantings, this limited edition wine is made from 100% Pinot Gris. This still white wine is beautifully rounded, with bright floral notes, delicate pear and stone fruit.
A portion of the wine was matured in French oak barrels and aged for six months to add richness and body.
Perfect when paired with fresh seafood such as crab linguine, scallops or with a platter of antipasti.
The art: Nutbourne wines are a family affair, made only from grapes grown on the estate, and every bottle features a Bridget Gladwin painting on the label, selected to complement the wine. This painting of the Seven Sisters cliffs was created high on the Sussex Downs on a bright, blustery day. it captures a kaleidoscope of colours, freshness and light from the sea, landscape and sky.

The wine presents a generous bouquet of stone fruit notes white peach and honeysuckle with fresh citrus bursts. These delicate notes are brought together to create a wine with great clarity, a unifying minerality and slight viscosity. Pair with white fish, dishes with creamy sauces and fresh salads.
100% Pinot Gris from an Alsatian grape varietal, the grapes were pressed in early October. After low
temperature fermentation the wine was left in tank over winter but not allowed to go through
malolactic fermentation to preserve the fresh acidity.
