About Hambledon Vineyard
Established in 1952 by Major-General Sir Guy Salisbury-Jones, Hambledon Vineyard boasts a rich heritage as England’s oldest commercial vineyard. Nestled in the picturesque Hampshire countryside, known as the ‘Cradle of Cricket,’ it stands as a pioneer of English winemaking innovation.
The vineyard’s success is deeply rooted in its geology. The vines flourish on chalky soils formed over 65 million years ago in the Paris Basin seabed, a terroir strikingly similar to the Champagne region. Aged for a minimum of 22 months on lees and rested an additional six months on cork post-disgorgement, this sparkling rosé demonstrates exceptional maturity and finesse.

New release! This is the latest release of our best-selling Rosé Brut from the successful 2022 vintage. This release is made exactly in exactly the same style - albeit a little lighter in appearance - from a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir and having spent over 18 months on lees.
Pale salmon in colour with an abundance of fine bubbles, the wine has notes of strawberry, some blood orange, summer citrus freshness with a little creamy nougat on the nose. The freshness continues into the palate with some lightly bready notes and a little some summer fruit salad. Reminiscent of a summer day with the sun going down, this is the perfect aperitif or paired with with light starter dishes. ABV 12%.
