Owned by the Deniau family, Domaine des Vaublins has been a family winery for several generations. Since 2020 the Domaine is in the hands of the current generation Nicolas and Alexandrine, and together with Cedric Allion they are making some excellent wines under his watchful eye. Their 16 hectares of vines are located on the clay and limestone hillsides on the banks of the river Cher.

This Sauvignon Blanc showcases itself behind a golden hue adorned with green undertones, displaying impeccable clarity and remarkable depth. Its bouquet exudes the essence of delicate citrus fruits, particularly grapefruit, accompanied by a discernible mineral character. With aeration, the wine unveils invigorating hints of freshly squeezed lemon entwined with the essence of white fruit, pear, and green apples. On the palate, the wine possesses a crispness that borders on a steely sharpness, bursting forth with vibrant flavours of gooseberry, peanut, and nettle, courtesy of its ageing on lees.
