Anthonij Rupert Wyne was founded on the farm, L’Ormarins in Franschhoek. Originally owned by the late Anthonij Rupert, who passed away in 2001, the farm was eventually taken over by his brother Johann Rupert in 2003 and the brand named after him. It was Johann Rupert who constructed a state-of-theart winemaking facility, catapulting the farm into a prestigious wine estate. The focus is on terroir specific wines and therefore it would seem obvious that the brand is made up of an impressive portfolio of farms representing the best in grape producing locations. This wine offers a complex bouquet of fruitcake, cedar, cocoa, and a delicate hint of dried lavender. The texture is wonderfully soft, rounded, and silky, showcasing cohesion and refinement. It possesses impressive density and concentration without feeling overpowering, and the oak influence from maturation is seamlessly integrated.

Antonin Guyon started buying vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin and Meursault in the 1960s. A decade later, his son Dominique added 350 plots in the Hautes Côtes de Nuits. This vibrant, ruby-hued Pinot Noir offers a lifted bouquet of wild strawberry, red cherry, and rose petal, layered with subtle forest floor and gentle spice. the wine showcases purity of fruit and a bright, cool-climate character. Domaine Chignard farms 8 hectares of old vines in Fleurie, situated at the top of the hill sloping down to Moulin-àVent on pure granitic soils. The wines are elegant but serious and concentrated expressions of the terroir, none more so than the ‘Les Moriers’ lieu-dit. Cédric is following in his father’s footsteps and continuing the traditional Beaujolais way of farming and winemaking.
Bright, focused, and energetic, the fruit-filled Fleurie "Les Moriers" reflects its outstanding terroir with good concentration and a superb depth not usually found in the wines of Fleurie. It's very lush and vivid, tasting generous and fluid with great vibrancy The vines average 80 years old and 'Les Moriers' has been known as one of the legendary vineyards of the Beaujolais for a few hundred years and this is it's best example.
