Following extensive ageing in our cellar (usually more than three years), our Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage has distinctive toasty and spicy aromas. A palate of honey, almond, pastry and baked apples gives it a hint of decadence. Intense yet delicate, elegant yet complex – it’s no wonder it’s consistently crowned one of the best English sparkling wines.
About Nyetimber
Nyetimber is synonymous with world-renowned English sparkling wine, crafted from estate-grown grapes in the greensand and chalk soils of Sussex, Hampshire, and Kent. These exceptional terroirs, combined with a climate perfect for slow ripening, allow Nyetimber to achieve the optimum balance of ripeness, acidity, complexity, and finesse.
Since 2006, under the stewardship of Owner and Chief Executive Eric Heerema, Nyetimber has reached new heights. Eric’s vision, shared by Head Winemaker Cherie Spriggs and Winemaker Brad Greatrix, has led to global acclaim, with Nyetimber wines celebrated for their elegance and excellence. Cherie and Brad meticulously assess each vineyard and vintage, ensuring the highest standards of quality from vine to bottle. Grapes are handpicked, gently pressed, and vinified using the traditional method, followed by extended ageing and generous post-disgorgement time to enhance complexity and flavour.
Nyetimber’s history dates back to its mention in the Domesday Book of 1086. The estate’s modern legacy began in 1988 with the planting of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier vines. Today, the winery is a pioneer in English sparkling wine, blending art and science to create masterpieces.
Sustainability is central to Nyetimber’s philosophy, with a commitment to positive impacts on nature, society, and the economy. Guided by passion, precision, and innovation, Nyetimber crafts wines worthy of life’s most joyous moments, firmly establishing its place among the world’s finest sparkling wine producers.

Albourne Estate Red Pinot Noir 2019 (6 Bottles) Albourne, West Sussex, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
This is our second vintage of Red Pinot Noir and displays a deeper, richer ruby colour and a more complex nose than our 2018 version. This is partly due to the vintage and partly due to increased use of the ‘saignee’ method during winemaking. The nose offers aromas of rich dark berries including black cherries backed by notes of cigarbox, black olives and dark chocolate. On the palate it delivers excellent body for a cool climate Pinot Noir with mature soft tannins, a balanced mouthfeel and a harmonious lingering finish. All of this wine has spent 12 months in a mix of new and old French oak barrels before being bottled by hand, unfined and unfiltered, under cork to allow gentle ageing.
Highly enjoyable with charcuteries cheese and nuts as an aperitif and great with a casserole or barbecued meats and vegetables.

It displays a vibrant ruby hue with garnet reflections. The nose is elegant and aromatic, showcasing morello cherries, ripe red fruits, and a subtle hint of blackberries. Delicate spiced notes of allspice and vanilla emerge, layered with earthy undertones that hint at its barrel maturation.
On the palate, the wine is beautifully balanced, with a soft, velvety texture and graceful tannins. The red fruit core is complemented by gentle spice and a whisper of oak-driven vanilla. The acidity is well-integrated, offering freshness while supporting the wine’s structure.
The malolactic fermentation and oak ageing contribute to a rounded, harmonious body with a touch of complexity. The finish is long and refined, with lingering notes of cherry, spice, and a touch of earthiness that promises graceful ageing potential.
A versatile partner, it pairs perfectly with rosemary roast lamb, game dishes, grilled pork, roast salmon, or earthy mushroom-based cuisine. Its elegance and structure also make it a delightful wine to savor on its own. This is a stunning Midlands Pinot Noir Précoce, showcasing exceptional terroir and meticulous craftsmanship, offering both immediate pleasure and the potential for further development.

Concentrated brambles (blackberry) and black cherry, damson fruit overlaid with quintessential Pinot perfumed aromatics and subtle dry spice. Subtle fennel and violet give further aromatic complexity and intrigue. Medium-light, chalky tannins give the wine great texture, acidity is refreshing but well-integrated and harmonious. Knightor Winery Pinot Noir 2023 (6 Bottles) St Austell Bay, Cornwall, England
Free UK Delivery on Orders Over £60
Character: Light, Fruit-forward
Aromas: Cherry, Wild Strawberry, Spice
Flavours: Red Fruits, Gentle Oak
Style: A light and summery English Red.
Food Pairing: Pair with lamb, game, or enjoy on its own.
A pale red Pinot Noir, the colour is deceptive, not revealing the powerful red fruits hidden within. Full of wild red fruit characters on the nose, the palate is soft, with intense red cherry and gentle spice from the time spent on oak. The perfect red for summer, ideal with a BBQ.
Winemaker's Notes: Just the ripest Pinot Noir was used for this light red. The grapes were crushed and fermented partly in tank and partly in barrel. Throughout the ferment regular pump overs were conducted to extract a little more colour and weight. The oaked proportion of the blend then spent a further 12 months in oak before being bottled.
Wine: Still Red
Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
Body: Light
Sweetness: Dry
Alcohol: 12%
