The word Bulari is derived from the Latin word Bullarum, meaning bubbles. The Cotswolds, in which the Poulton Hill Estate is located, is steeped in Roman history, with the Roman town of Cirencester close by.
A beautiful pale gold in appearance, this Bulari has a vibrant nose of freshly cut green apple and pear with citrusy notes of orange peel, lemon and hints of lime zest. The palate is filled with mouth-watering fruits of juicy apple at the forefront, hints of grapefruit and lemon (sherbet) together with a fine mousse creates a wonderfully well rounded mouthfeel with a crisp, clean finish.

About Poulton Hill Estate
Poulton Hill Estate Vineyard is part of the dynamic English winemaking movement, producing award-winning wines from the picturesque Cotswold countryside. Established in 2010 near the historic towns of Cirencester and Cheltenham, the estate boasts 9,750 vines planted on sunny, south-facing slopes. These vines yield up to 20,000 bottles of wine annually, alongside a selection of English spirits crafted from hand-harvested grapes.
The estate cultivates grape varieties such as Bacchus, Seyval Blanc, Phoenix, Pinot Noir, Regent, and Rondo, all chosen for their compatibility with the local climate, geography, and soil. Under the expertise of a skilled contract winemaker and distiller, these varieties are blended and balanced to produce an exceptional range of white, rosé, red, and sparkling wines, as well as spirits.
Poulton Hill Estate’s ethos centres on environmental stewardship. Beyond being environmentally conscious, the estate takes active steps to support sustainability. Rare-breed Jacob’s Sheep and Olde English Babydoll Southdown Sheep graze the vineyard and orchard, providing natural weed control and enriching the soil without damaging the vines. Wildflowers are planted to support the insect population, fostering biodiversity across the estate.
This commitment to sustainable practises ensures that every bottle produced at Poulton Hill Estate reflects not only the beauty of its Cotswold surroundings but also a dedication to preserving and enhancing the environment. Visitors can enjoy the fruits of this labour through wines and spirits that embody quality, care, and a connection to nature.

Black Chalk Classic Sparkling White 2021 (6 Bottles) Andover, Hampshire, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
A sophisticated blend of 50% Chardonnay, 38% Pinot Noir, and 12% Pinot Meunier, this wine embodies elegance and precision. The Chardonnay-led profile delivers a vibrant fruit focus, while a touch of malolactic fermentation adds a layer of richness and texture, perfectly balanced by the wine’s hallmark freshness.
On the palate, expect a textured and full-bodied experience, supported by bright acidity (8.5g/l) and subtle sweetness (5.4g/l residual sugar). The wine is aged for a minimum of 22 months on lees, enhancing complexity, with an additional 6 months on cork post-disgorgement to ensure perfect integration.
A versatile choice for any occasion. Enjoy as an aperitif with crisps and canapés, or elevate everyday dining by pairing with fried chicken. For a more refined match, complement its freshness and texture with shellfish such as oysters, crab, or prawns.

Knightor Winery Pinot Noir 2023 (6 Bottles) St Austell Bay, Cornwall, England

Character: Light, Fruit-forward
Aromas: Cherry, Wild Strawberry, Spice
Flavours: Red Fruits, Gentle Oak
Style: A light and summery English Red.
Food Pairing: Pair with lamb, game, or enjoy on its own.
A pale red Pinot Noir, the colour is deceptive, not revealing the powerful red fruits hidden within. Full of wild red fruit characters on the nose, the palate is soft, with intense red cherry and gentle spice from the time spent on oak. The perfect red for summer, ideal with a BBQ.
Winemaker's Notes: Just the ripest Pinot Noir was used for this light red. The grapes were crushed and fermented partly in tank and partly in barrel. Throughout the ferment regular pump overs were conducted to extract a little more colour and weight. The oaked proportion of the blend then spent a further 12 months in oak before being bottled.
Wine: Still Red
Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
Body: Light
Sweetness: Dry
Alcohol: 12%

Woodhouse Pinot is a light and fruity red with lovely complexities and exceedingly moreish!
The demand for red wines in the UK is high, and we created this multi vintage wine to take advantage of those years that are very kind, providing heaps of ripe red fruit, as well as those years where it is a bit more of a struggle.
Each year we will add to a perpetual reserve, much like the soleras system used for making sherry, whereby we partially remove wine from barrels each year for bottling, then top up those same barrels with wine from the current vintage.
This not only blends the wine for a fairly consistent flavour profile, but is also gives the wine an opportunity to become more balanced as each vintage comes and goes. From tannins and acidity, to fruity notes and savoury notes. Bottled un-fined and un-filtered.
Enjoy at lunch or dinner with many different foods or all on it’s own. This delightful red wine may be a little too easy drinking!
