Anthonij Rupert Wyne was founded on the farm, L’Ormarins in Franschhoek. Originally owned by the late Anthonij Rupert, who passed away in 2001, the farm was eventually taken over by his brother Johann Rupert in 2003 and the brand named after him. It was Johann Rupert who constructed a state-of-theart winemaking facility, catapulting the farm into a prestigious wine estate. The focus is on terroir specific wines and therefore it would seem obvious that the brand is made up of an impressive portfolio of farms representing the best in grape producing locations. Cielo e Terra has dual roots in the Veneto region: the Cielo family and the winemakers of the Cantine dei Colli Berici. The Cielo family’s bond with the land dates back to 1908 in the Vicenza countryside, near the Castles of Romeo and Juliet, where the great-grandfather had bought Casa Defrà, a small farm with a vineyard. They enjoy making wines with passion and innovation to create signature versions of traditional Italian wines, looking for the right balance between personality and easy-drinking.
This wine displays a light straw yellow colour, hinting at its bright and refreshing character. The nose is fresh and fruity, with delicate aromas of wildflowers and fresh fruit that create an inviting bouquet. Domaine Deux Roches is based in the village of Davayé, in the Mâconnais, and is jointly owned by Jean-Luc Terrier and Christian Collovray. Their 50 hectares of vineyards largely lie between the twin escarpments of Solutré and Vergisson and showcase the diverse terroirs of this region. The wines of Deux Roches are known for their drinkability and offer great value for money.

Heartland Wines is a joint venture from industry veterans and lifelong mates Ben Glaetzer (of Glaetzer Wines fame) and Nick Keukenmeester in Langhorne Creek, South Australia. From its inception in 1999, Heartland’s ethos has been to create wines of balance, texture and a distinctive Australian identity. Sustainability is the cornerstone of Heartland’s approach to viticulture. they encourage plantings of indigenous trees, grasses and bushes, practice rational water management, and eschew chemical treatments in the vineyards. They even have a herd of goats to keep the weeds down.
Sposa e Sposa translates from Italian as Spouse and Spouse and refers to the marriage of varietals, Dolcetto and Lagrein. A core of intense cherry red recedes to a bright crimson rim in the glass. Aromas of summer rose garden complement the foundation of plums, blueberry and blueberry. The pleasantly savoury palate is made up of blueberry and blackberry with a hint of wild liquorice on the finish. The mouthfeel is soft and forward, with a long finish. This can be enjoyed at cellar temperature in the cooler months or chilled down for summer drinking.

Owned by the Deniau family, Domaine des Vaublins has been a family winery for several generations. Since 2020 the Domaine is in the hands of the current generation Nicolas and Alexandrine, and together with Cedric Allion they are making some excellent wines under his watchful eye. Their 16 hectares of vines are located on the clay and limestone hillsides on the banks of the river Cher.
This Sauvignon Blanc showcases a golden hue adorned with green undertones, displaying impeccable clarity and remarkable depth. Its nose is a one of complexity, boasting exquisite fruit notes of citrus, particularly grapefruit, alongside captivating mineral undertones. Monte del Frà Soave Classico 2024 (6 Bottles) Veneto, Italy

Monte del Frà (meaning ‘land of the monks’) gets its name from the late 15th century, when a group of Friars formed a monastery on the land. Some hundred years later, the friars leased 25 hectares for the cultivation of vineyards and fruit trees. You can, in fact, still see this document today in the Vienna’s historic library. Fast forward several centuries, and Monte del Frà is now in the very capable hands of the Bonomo family. For over six decades the family have farmed this land, now resting firmly with the third generation; Marica, Silvia and Massimo Bonomo.
A light aromatic dry white made of 100% Garganega. It is fresh and delicate with notes of vine flowers, cherry blossoms and elderflowers.

Weszeli Felix Grüner Veltliner 2023 (6 Bottles) Kamptal, Austria

Weingut Weszeli is located in Langenlois, a famous wine village located on the river Kamp where it winds its way down to the Danube at Krems. Here, there is a patchwork of Cru vineyards which have been instrumental in putting Austria on the map as a source of world-class white wines. Davis Weszeli discovered his calling in the form of this Kamptal winery in 2011, and since then, he has been on a mission to create authentic wines while upholding his commitment to sustainability and organic viticulture, and all the while following the principle coined by Davis himself. ‘Terrafactum’, the importance of the unique nature of the earth and terroir of Kamptal.
Generous apple and pear, with a lime zing and a white pepper finish. This refreshing, lithe Grüner Veltliner will pair well with a creamy asparagus risotto or grilled fish.
