Tillingham is nestled within 70 acres of picturesque hills, woodlands, and vineyards, offering breathtaking views of the Tillingham River valley, the historic town of Rye, and the Romney salt marshes. This 13th-century mixed farm is home to a diverse array of crops, livestock, and ancient woodland.
Our approach at Tillingham is rooted in progress and tradition. We blend cutting-edge scientific knowledge with ancient farming and winemaking techniques to create a unique and sustainable practice. Our Pinot Blanc is made from hand-picked grapes, harvested in early October 2023. The Pinot Blanc grapes from Oxfordshire were gently pressed in our winery on the same day. The pale yellow juice was fermented partialy in a stainless steel tank and a third vintage oak barrel from Burgundy, before being bottled in May 2024. The wine is unfiltered, unfined and vegan friendly.

A delightful dry blush rosé wine made from a combined pressing of our Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir, with just enough skin contact to give a lovely pale pink hue. With geranium on the nose, it has a gentle wild strawberry acidity, soft citrus, redcurrant and floral herbaceous notes on the palate.
A wine for quaffing on a summer's afternoon in an English country garden with friends. Serve with hors d’oeuvres or light salads, such as smoked duck breast with white peaches. Perfect with a little caviar on dill blini.
The art: Just as Nutbourne wines are only made from grapes grown on the estate, every bottle features Bridget Gladwin’s paintings. This painting depicts the top of our Southdown vineyard with the windbreak line of poplar trees in midsummer. You can feel the heat haze running through the image, ripening and developing the flavours in the grapes.

This wine gives a fresh mouthfeel with plenty of crunchy acidity to create a wine that is elegant with great varietal character.
