About Trevibban Mill
Trevibban Mill is a family-run vineyard, winery, and events venue nestled in the picturesque Cornish countryside. Established in 2008 by Engin and Liz Mumcuoglu, the vineyard produces high-quality sparkling and still wines.
The vineyard’s approach emphasises quality, sustainability, and working with nature. Herbicides are not used, and native flora is allowed to flourish, promoting biodiversity. The vineyard is also home to sheep, apple trees, and native English Southdown sheep.
Trevibban Mill’s winemaking process is led by Juri, an experienced winemaker with over 10 years of experience. Grapes are hand-harvested, and the winery uses a combination of traditional and modern techniques to produce unique and characterful wines.
The vineyard is committed to reducing its environmental impact, with 110 solar panels generating clean energy and a focus on organic practices. Trevibban Mill’s wines and ciders are available for tasting and purchase on site, and the venue also hosts events and weddings.

Black Chalk Inversion Sparkling Blanc de Noirs 2020 (6 Bottles) Andover, Hampshire, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
Inversion 2020 is a limited-edition Blanc de Noir, with only 1,939 bottles produced. Crafted from 83% Pinot Noir and 17% Pinot Meunier, this wine showcases the best of the Upper Levels vineyard, where the unique terroir lends complexity and depth to the blend. Dominated by the robust Pinot Noir 777 clone (67% of the blend), it is complemented by clones 386, 521, and 817, each contributing to its layered profile.
The wine’s character is shaped by a careful balance of 97% stainless steel aging and 3% maturation in 5-year-old Burgundian barrels, enhancing its finesse. Burgundy yeast Spark amplifies the aromatics, while a non-interventionist approach—eschewing malolactic fermentation and fining—ensures the wine expresses its true varietal essence.
On the nose, Inversion bursts with vibrant red fruit aromas, underpinned by subtle hints of spice and earthiness. The palate delivers a powerful and expressive profile, brimming with red berries, yet refined with a distinctive “grown-up” edge. A backbone of vibrant acidity cleanses the palate, creating a clean and satisfying finish.
This is a wine of elegance and precision, designed to celebrate the potential of Pinot Noir in the UK, particularly the expressive and bold nature of the PN 777 clone.
“Inversion is all about highlighting the power of the PN 777 clone—it’s got a real grown-up edge to it.”
— Jacob Leadley, Owner & Winemaker
Harrow & Hope Blanc de Noirs 2019 (6 Bottles) Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
After the bold, broad, and almost brutish 2018 release, the 2019 is cut from a different cloth. A cooler and less abundant year suited the Pinot considerably better than the Chardonnay.
80% of this wine is fermented using natural wild yeast in a selection of different-sized oak barrels. It certainly has that signature Pinot intensity but is wrapped in an elegant and refined structure that is a hallmark of 2019. For those who remember 2015, this is very similar in structure and a wine that continues to develop a singular identity that makes it stand out from the crowd, no doubt our most complex wine to date.

A sparkling wine to turn heads, it pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes, from meaty mains to fresh seafood, and even rich pasta dishes and beyond.
