About Vale Vineyard
Nestled in the breathtaking Vale of Clwyd, North Wales, lies Vale Vineyard, a hidden gem where passion meets precision. Our lovingly tended vines yield an exquisite boutique range of wines.
Join us for a journey through the vineyard, where the Davies family’s labour of love comes alive. As pioneers of grape farming in the Vale of Clwyd, we’re proud to share our story. Gwen and Rhys, both born and bred in the local farming community, bring their expertise and enthusiasm to every aspect of the vineyard.
But the real magic happens on harvest days, when our family and friends gather to hand-pick the precious grapes. It’s a celebration of community, tradition, and the fruits of our labour.

Albourne Estate Multi-Vintage Sparkling (6 Bottles) Albourne, West Sussex, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
As its name suggests this wine is made of selected base wines from multiple vintages to produce an approachable and immediately enjoyable style. Others call this style ‘non-vintage’ – we just prefer the name ‘multi-vintage’! The blend of this wine will vary slightly each year in order to maintain a consistent style, but it will typically be a combination of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir or Pinot Meunier and will undergo 3 years on-lees ageing.
Generous and soft on the palate, this wine is open and expressive, exhibiting delightful panettone-like aromas of sweet baked bread, dried apricots, nuts and candied citrus peels.
Albourne Estate Red Pinot Noir 2019 (6 Bottles) Albourne, West Sussex, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
This is our second vintage of Red Pinot Noir and displays a deeper, richer ruby colour and a more complex nose than our 2018 version. This is partly due to the vintage and partly due to increased use of the ‘saignee’ method during winemaking. The nose offers aromas of rich dark berries including black cherries backed by notes of cigarbox, black olives and dark chocolate. On the palate it delivers excellent body for a cool climate Pinot Noir with mature soft tannins, a balanced mouthfeel and a harmonious lingering finish. All of this wine has spent 12 months in a mix of new and old French oak barrels before being bottled by hand, unfined and unfiltered, under cork to allow gentle ageing.
Highly enjoyable with charcuteries cheese and nuts as an aperitif and great with a casserole or barbecued meats and vegetables.
