The Selbach family has a long viticultural history dating back to 1661. Today, the Mitte Mosel estate is run by Johannes and Barbara Selbach with help from their children. The family farms 25 ha of vines in Zeltingen (Himmelreich, Sonnenuhr and Schlossberg) and Graach (Himmelreich and Domprobst), and out of these 6.5 ha are farmed organically where the rest follows sustainable practices. More than a half of their vineyards are planted on their own rootstocks and the majority are on very steep slopes, necessitating cultivation and harvesting by hand.

Weingut Eymann was founded in 1984 in the village of Gönnheim, at the heart of the Pfalz wine region in southwest Germany. Since the beginning, it has been owned and run by the Torey family. With nearly 200 years of winemaking tradition, Von Buhl has played a central role in shaping the quality and reputation of German Riesling. Established by Franz Peter Buhl, a visionary winemaker who quickly earned acclaim for the estate’s wines, it was then passed to his son, Armand von Buhl, who further elevated its reputation. The name ‘Reichsrat’ was added at a later date, in recognition of Armand’s appointment to the German Imperial Council, underscoring the estate’s stature. Von Buhl’s wines were famously served at the opening of the Suez Canal in 1869, a testament to their early prestige. After decades of family ownership, the estate passed through several hands before being revitalised under new leadership in the 21st century, with a renewed commitment to quality and organic farming.
