Heartland Wines is a joint venture from industry veterans and lifelong mates Ben Glaetzer (of Glaetzer Wines fame) and Nick Keukenmeester in Langhorne Creek, South Australia. From its inception in 1999, Heartland’s ethos has been to create wines of balance, texture and a distinctive Australian identity. Sustainability is the cornerstone of Heartland’s approach to viticulture. they encourage plantings of indigenous trees, grasses and bushes, practice rational water management, and eschew chemical treatments in the vineyards. They even have a herd of goats to keep the weeds down.

Vermentino originally hails from Italy's Liguria region and the Mediterranean Island of Sardinia. It has been grown in Langhorne Creek for around 30 years. Langhorne Creek is an ideal location for Vermentino with our maritime conditions. Look for a refreshingly aromatic and bright wine full of citrus, pear and lemon peel. Heartland Vermentino has a sea spray character that the wine is known for, with a mouth-watering, zesty, long finish.

The Selbach family has a long viticultural history dating back to 1661. Today, the Mitte Mosel estate is run by Johannes and Barbara Selbach with help from their children. The family farms 25 ha of vines in Zeltingen (Himmelreich, Sonnenuhr and Schlossberg) and Graach (Himmelreich and Domprobst), and out of these 6.5 ha are farmed organically where the rest follows sustainable practices. More than a half of their vineyards are planted on their own rootstocks and the majority are on very steep slopes, necessitating cultivation and harvesting by hand.

This wine’s tasting notes are leaning towards light bodied, high sweetness, with medium acidity, very fruity, low tannins, low alcohol and no oak.

Weingut Eymann was founded in 1984 in the village of Gönnheim, at the heart of the Pfalz wine region in southwest Germany. Since the beginning, it has been owned and run by the Torey family. The estate’s vineyards are located on the upper Rhine terrace, where soils shaped during the last ice age tell a long geological story. These soils, gravel and sand from ancient rivers, topped with a layer of loess—give the wines their structure and distinctive mineral character.

This wine has heady perfume of raspberries, bitter cherry and scented herbs, supported by sweet and supple tannins and a juicy mouthfeel. Small proportion of whole bunch gifts a lifted, aromatic profile.

With nearly 200 years of winemaking tradition, Von Buhl has played a central role in shaping the quality and reputation of German Riesling. The name ‘Reichsrat’ was added at a later date, in recognition of Armand’s appointment to the German Imperial Council, underscoring the estate’s stature. Von Buhl’s wines were famously served at the opening of the Suez Canal in 1869, a testament to their early prestige. After decades of family ownership, the estate passed through several hands before being revitalised under new leadership in the 21st century, with a renewed commitment to quality and organic farming.
