This sweet vermouth has been hand-crafted from distilled Sauvignon wine, blended with Pinot Noir and carefully selected botanical infusions of herbs, spices and citrus peel.
Beautifully bitter wormwood aromas are intertwined with dark notes of cacao and coffee, creamy undertones of vanilla, earthy rooibos tea leaves, and sweetness from caramelised Albury honey. A warming melange of spices including cassia bark, orange peel, nutmeg and ginger are underpinned by herbal flavours of honeybush leaf, lemon balm and meadowsweet for added complexity.

This off-dry vermouth has been hand crafted from distilled Sauvignon wine blended with Pinot Noir and a lovingly considered selection of botanicals.
Vibrant aromas of sweet orange, mint and kaffir lime leaf are complimented by bold black tea and sweet honeybush with a hint of bay leaf and toasted oak for added complexity. A delicious amalgamation of nutmeg, orange peel, lemon balm and just a hint of Tasmanian mountain pepper adds body and, as with any vermouth, wormwood provides a distinctive tongue-smacking bitterness.

A characterful dry orange rosé with bright, mouth-watering acidity and crunchy tannins. The palate is intense and juicy, with flavours of pink rose petals, mixed red berries with woody undertones from barrel ageing. An energetic wine with some tension that will loosen with age.
The Baron Gilvan collaborated with us on label designs for Artefacts #7, #8, & #9. His oil-stick on paper drawings were inspired by each wine’s names, qualities, and colours, the resulting artworks depicting a jazz band of curious characters indulging in a make-believe underground cabaret. The direction of the labels naturally formed itself through initial drawings. The idea of the ‘wild ferment’ informed the animal-human hybrids whilst the variety ‘Cabaret Noir’ inspired the inclusion of instruments and cabaret characters. The paint colours were inspired by the colours of each wine; deep burgundy for ‘Cabaret Noir’, zesty orange for ‘Skinny Gris’, and blanched green for ‘Motley Wild.

This blend, featuring a fine Pinot Noir 779 clone and whole-bunch pressed, co-fermented Pinot Précoce and Pinot Gris, delivers a harmonious balance of elegance and complexity. With an alcohol content of 12%, refreshing acidity at 5.5 g/l, and minimal sugar (<1.0 g/l), it presents a beautifully clean profile.

This grape produces dark blue grapes when ripened at the end of October giving the wine a slight blush appearance. By allowing the natural fermentation to extend to 30 months, the Pinot grape makes a very fine sparkling wine having a fruity aroma and spicy flavour. Crisp and dry.

This Court Garden Ditchling White is a delicious blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Ortega. The varieties were fermented and aged in stainless steel to retain the clean aromas and soft fruit notes and then blended to create this delicious single-vineyard estate white wine. This is a light medium bodied dry wine. There are aromas of apple, grapefruit, lime and stone fruits, as well as tropical fruits on the palette and a clean fresh finish. This aromatised wine is our Dorset answer to “vermouth”! The white wine base is from our Dorset grown grapes. We bump up the ABV of these wines by fortifying with a small amount of our wine spirit distilled at Melbury Vale. We then blend with all natural extracts and lime syrup. Because of the slight fortification of this wine, it has a longer shelf life once opened. We recommend a bottle of our aromatised wine can stay open in the fridge for up to 2 weeks – but we don’t expect it to last that long! This amazingly zingy and refreshing wine is best served really chilled. You can serve it in a pitcher with ice and garnish with fresh mint, or pour into a glass over ice with Gin to create a Gin Mist! It’s so refreshing it is perfect with salty snacks as an aperitif!

Our first release from the 2018 plantings, this limited edition wine is made from 100% Pinot Gris. This still white wine is beautifully rounded, with bright floral notes, delicate pear and stone fruit.
A portion of the wine was matured in French oak barrels and aged for six months to add richness and body.
Perfect when paired with fresh seafood such as crab linguine, scallops or with a platter of antipasti.
The art: Nutbourne wines are a family affair, made only from grapes grown on the estate, and every bottle features a Bridget Gladwin painting on the label, selected to complement the wine. This painting of the Seven Sisters cliffs was created high on the Sussex Downs on a bright, blustery day. it captures a kaleidoscope of colours, freshness and light from the sea, landscape and sky.
