When people ask me I never admit to having a favourite wine….it would be like having a favourite child – unthinkable!
However, I’m very close to admitting that this could be my favourite sparkling wine that we’ve released so far. I always love the gorgeous bronzed-gold colour of Blanc de Noirs wines coupled with their depth of flavour…..but what totally captivates me about this wine is the mouthfeel and balance.
It has the smoothest texture, the most delicious creaminess and a captivating balance of freshness and fruit. This is a fantastic example of the style that can be created with the right wine and patience! We’ve waited 5 long years for this wine to gently mature and I think it was worth it.

Inspired by our home and delicately pale to look at, this still wine blend of the traditional champagne varieties (Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay) shows just what English rosé is capable of. Brimming with delicious summer berry and a zesty freshness, from clay Hush Heath vineyards are ideally suited to create this soft, delicate dry style – the character of the wine echoes the beautiful English summer fruit orchards which inspired it. Oatley Fraîcheur Barrel Matured 2023 (6 Bottles) Bridgwater, Somerset, England

Floral aromas with ripe peach, mango and a touch of oak on the palate.
This wine is our Jane's that has been matured for 11 months in Fraîcheur barrels, which are a special mix of oak and acacia wood. It gains complexity and is all together a more serious wine.
A touch of tannin on the finish makes this a good food wine, especially with white meats and goats cheeses.
The 2023 vintage starts with touch of vanilla, then some lemony acacia on the mid palate and a touch of tannin to finish.
