Foxbury Fields Bacchus is a pale lime green aromatic dry white wine. The wine offers complex aromas of elderflower layered with Kiwi, grass and a herbal overlay. Well balanced with length on the palate this is a classic English Bacchus.
Created in 1933 by viticulturalist Peter Morio by crossing Silvaner x Riesling with Muller-Thurgau varieties to create a grape that produces a fine white wine. Originating in Germany, Bacchus has increasingly been grown in the United Kingdom. The climate being colder means the grapes tend to have increased levels of acidity compared to their German counterparts, giving a new flavour take on a classic German grape by keeping the flavor from becoming too intense or sugary.

Ortega is an early ripening variety for the UK, which allows us to leave the grapes hanging on the vine as long as possible to achieve the optimum balance of fruit and acid. Domaine Pinchinat has quietly been producing organic wines since 1990, long before it was a trendy word in the region. The property has belonged to the same family for over two centuries and is now expertly managed by Alain de Welle. Situated at the foot of the famous Montagne Sainte-Victoire, 25km east of Aix en Provence, the winery has 75 acres of vineyards at 280m above sea level. The soils here are composed of clay and limestone making it a haven for vine growing.
12.5% ABV, Organic.

This is the first sparkling wine in our Sandridge Barton range, and it has certainly hit the ground running, winning a 'Master' medal at the Global Sparkling Wine Awards 2023 and is one of only 7 wines to achieve this top award out of 230 entries.
Made with 100% Pinot Noir from the best parcels, it's fermented naturally with indigenous yeasts in second fill French oak barrels where it spends a further 10 months on gross lees. We bottled this wine for second fermentation in June 2021, where it spent a further 18 months on the lees in bottle. We disgorged this wine with no dosage added, so it comes in at 0 g/l of residual sugar.
Raspberry gold in colour, with delicate aromas of rhubarb, fresh orchard fruits and cooked apple. The palate is dry, with delicate tart red berry flavours and subtle autolytic characters of baked bread and puff pastry. This leads you into a long finish lifted by the ripe and fruit-driven acidity.
