At Brissenden Vineyard, we nurture our seven acres of established vines with care and patience, crafting fine wines and creating welcoming spaces for our visitors. Our story began in 2017, when we discovered our perfect field in the picturesque Kent countryside.
Our idyllic vineyard offers scenic avenues and aisles ideal for picnics or wine tastings after a tour. We also have a secluded camping ground for friends and family gatherings.
As a family-run business with three generations involved, we prioritize warmth and hospitality. Our team is open, friendly, and dedicated to producing exceptional English Sparkling Wines. Tamesis is a collaboration between Blackbook and Forty Hall, London’s only certified organic vineyard. This was the first wine both grown and made in London, in modern times when we initially released the 2018 vintage.
Fermented using natural yeasts in a combination of old French oak barrels and steel tank; followed by naturally occurring malolactic fermentation and aged for 7 months on gross lees. A wine that truly expresses the varietal essence with nuances of elderflower, white peach, and white pepper with touches of sweet spices and tropical fruit. Unfined and unfiltered.

Originally from the German region of Pfalz, Bacchus was created in the 30s as a cross between Silvaner, Riesling and Müller-Thurgau. Under the UK climate, Bacchus has become a world class wine in its own right, developing distinct floral, citrus and grassy aromas that have led to frequent comparison with the highest quality Sauvignon Blancs.
