Our south-facing slope vineyard, specializing in Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Bacchus grapes, produces unforgettable still and sparkling wines.
Our story began in 1925, with 12 acres of pastureland and arable crops. Through generations, our family has tended the land, adopting sustainable practices to ensure its vitality. We’ve evolved, incorporating innovative techniques while honouring tradition. Our commitment to sustainability runs deep. We’ve replaced heavy cultivation with direct drilling, reducing soil disturbance and promoting soil fertility. New release! This is the latest release of our best-selling Rosé Brut from the successful 2022 vintage. This release is made exactly in exactly the same style - albeit a little lighter in appearance - from a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir and having spent over 18 months on lees.
Pale salmon in colour with an abundance of fine bubbles, the wine has notes of strawberry, some blood orange, summer citrus freshness with a little creamy nougat on the nose. Ripening in mid October lends a pale, lemon gold hue to the wine.
The nose shows elderflower, nettle, lime flower and a hint of rose petal too. These aromas flow onto the palate to be joined with grapefruit and lemon skin notes, and just a hint of melon and nectarine fruit too. Finishes clean, crisp and dry.

At the Wine GB East 2022 Awards, Dedham Vale Vineyard 2018 Sparkling Brut was awarded a Silver Medal in recognition of its outstanding quality.
This Brut Sparkling wine is made using the methode champenoise. It has spent time on its lees generating a refreshing lively mousse (the French term for the bubbles that rise to the top of a sparkling wine), good depth on the palate with attractive fresh fruit flavours and yeasty overtones.
Pristine with persistent bubbles and cream texture. Toast and citrus fruit with balsamic notes. Very long fresh gooseberry finish.

Our wines are made for us by multi award-winning English wine maker, Will Davenport and reflect the best of low-intervention, natural English winemaking.
