At Gusbourne, we’re driven by a passion for crafting exceptional wines that showcase the best of England’s terroir. Since planting our first vines in 2004, we’ve remained committed to sustainable practices, careful vineyard management, and meticulous attention to detail. Our estate spans 90 hectares across Kent and West Sussex, where we grow high-quality Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes. Our wines are made using traditional methods, with a focus on expressing the unique characteristics of our vineyards.
Under the guidance of Chief Vineyard Manager Jon Pollard, we’ve adopted a low-intervention approach that allows our grapes to thrive. Our winemaking team’s expertise and dedication have earned us numerous awards, including three-time winner of the IWSC English Wine Producer of the Year. Every wine we craft tells our story, from the careful harvesting of our grapes to the precise blending and ageing processes. A sparkling wine of unparalleled elegance, Paragon Blanc de Blancs showcases the purest expression of Chardonnay from the Upper Levels vineyard. Made exclusively from premium clones (95, 121, 76, and 131), this limited release of just 3,535 bottles is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship.
On the nose, bright citrus aromas intertwine with delicate floral notes and a whisper of toasted almond, hinting at its partial oak cask aging (46%) alongside stainless steel (54%). The absence of malolactic fermentation preserves the vibrant acidity (8.8g/L), complemented by a touch of residual sugar (5.9g/L) that enhances the wine’s texture without compromising its finesse.
On the palate, Paragon is a symphony of precision and complexity. The wine delivers crisp green apple, lemon zest, and a chalky minerality, rounded by a subtle creaminess from oak influence. The finish is long and refreshing, with a delicate interplay of fruit, acidity, and structure that invites another sip.

Wild Rose Sparkling Rosé captivates with its delicate wild-rose pink hue, exuding elegance and complexity. On the nose, vibrant aromas of ripe red berries intertwine with subtle floral nuances.
The palate is a delightful balance of freshness and bright fruit, with luscious notes of strawberries and raspberries complemented by a soft, creamy texture, a result of partial malolactic fermentation. This harmonious interplay concludes with a beautifully long, refined finish.
Aged for a minimum of 22 months on lees and rested an additional six months on cork post-disgorgement, this sparkling rosé demonstrates exceptional maturity and finesse.

This wine is a blend of Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir from the 2023 vintage and has been crafted to create a light delicate, fresh but aromatic white blend that celebrates the very best of the North Downs.
The Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir were whole bunch pressed with the Chardonnay formed purely from the cuvee fraction of the whole bunch press. The Pinot Gris was crushed and destemmed with a 2-hour soak. There was an addition of tea leaf tannins to the tank fermented wine to reduce the amount of added sulphites. 24% of the Chardonnay was fermented and aged in barrel for six months and 10% of the Chardonnay came from our Chardonnay ‘solera’ reserve tank which we started in 2015
This is the fourth in a series of limited-edition wines celebrating a chapter in our local history and the unsung heroines of the SOE in World War II who trained at nearby Wanborough Manor.
Yolande Beekman flew to NE France as a radio operator in September 1943. Unfortunately in January 1944 her transmissions were detected and she was captured and tragically executed at Dachau in September 1944.
