Owned by the Deniau family, Domaine des Vaublins has been a family winery for several generations. Since 2020 the Domaine is in the hands of the current generation Nicolas and Alexandrine, and together with Cedric Allion they are making some excellent wines under his watchful eye. Their 16 hectares of vines are located on the clay and limestone hillsides on the banks of the river Cher.
This Sauvignon Blanc showcases a golden hue adorned with green undertones, displaying impeccable clarity and remarkable depth. Its nose is a one of complexity, boasting exquisite fruit notes of citrus, particularly grapefruit, alongside captivating mineral undertones. Upon aeration, the minerality takes centre stage, reminiscent of gunflint, intertwining gracefully with the hints of freshly squeezed lemon entwined with the essence of white fruit, pear, and green apples. The minerality gracefully intertwines with powerful fruit flavours, most notably peach.

The Afanc: a mythical beast who slinks in the depths of a Welsh mountain lake. It is said to prey upon any foolish enough to fall into its pristine waters.
This is a blend of aromatic white varietals, Phoenix, Reichensteiner and Schönburger, from our 22 year old vineyard in Pen-y-Clawdd.

Biddenden Vineyards Ortega (6 Bottles) Biddenden, Kent, England

Semi-aromatic on the nose, displaying appealing fresh aromas of green apple, grapefruit, cut grass and flora, whilst the palate is medium bodied, crisp and deliciously fruity. May be served as an aperitif, this white would also pair well with lightly spicy dishes and seafood.
Ortega is our signature wine and was one of the first varieties planted in 1969. We have been producing our popular Biddenden Ortega since 1972, and have kept the original Germanic style label as a historical memento.
Biddenden was one of the first vineyards to plant Ortega in the UK in the late 1960’s. Today Ortega covers just over half of the vineyard. Ortega grapes ripen early and are known for their low acidity and high sugar levels. Ortega is widely used in dry still wines, and can also be used to make sweet wines.

Made with the rare Kernling grape, a variety related to Reisling and shares it's aging potential. Our Leonora's wines happily age for more than 10 years, developing honey and orange blossom.
The 2018 vintage is dry, complex and starting to develop the classic "petrol" aromas associated with good Reisling and the lemon/lime is evolving into pink grapefruit. Pairs well with anything you would squeeze lemon on (oysters, perhaps?).

This Court Garden Ditchling White is a delicious blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Ortega. The varieties were fermented and aged in stainless steel to retain the clean aromas and soft fruit notes and then blended to create this delicious single-vineyard estate white wine. This is a light medium bodied dry wine. There are aromas of apple, grapefruit, lime and stone fruits, as well as tropical fruits on the palette and a clean fresh finish. Plumpton Estate Brut Classic NV is made by the traditional method using a classic blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. Grapes are hand-picked and fermented before our winemaker carefully crafts our signature blend with the help of our wine students. The wine spends at least 2 years ageing on lees in the bottle before riddling and disgorging.

Champagne Gaston Chiquet has been passed down through eight generations since 1746, when Nicolas Chiquet planted his first vines. It was brothers Fernand and Gaston who, in 1919, made the bold decision to keep their grapes and producer their own wine. Since 2003, this property has been in the very capable hands of brothers Antoine and Nicolas Chiquet. Together with Marion (Antoine’s daughter) they work 23 hectares of vineyards in Dizy, Aÿ, Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and Hautvillers.
Golden yellow hue, fine mousse. Fresh nose of dried fruit (apricot) with a hint of citrus. Smooth palate (Meunier); fresh, balanced and fruity (fresh apricot, white peach, citrus); aromatic finish.
