About Burnt House Vineyard

Burnt House Vineyard, nestled in Suffolk's picturesque countryside, is a family's labor of love. With a farming legacy spanning nearly a century, we're dedicated to crafting exceptional wines that showcase our unique terroir. Our south-facing slope vineyard, specializing in Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Bacchus grapes, produces unforgettable still and sparkling wines.

Our story began in 1925, with 12 acres of pastureland and arable crops. Through generations, our family has tended the land, adopting sustainable practices to ensure its vitality. We've evolved, incorporating innovative techniques while honouring tradition. Our commitment to sustainability runs deep. We've replaced heavy cultivation with direct drilling, reducing soil disturbance and promoting soil fertility. Wildlife margins, winter bird food areas, and nectar flower mix areas flourish, fostering biodiversity.

At Burnt House, tradition meets innovation. Our family's passion for winemaking is palpable in every bottle. We're proud to share our legacy with visitors, offering a glimpse into our world. Our wines are a testament to our dedication, reflecting the essence of Suffolk's countryside. Join us at Burnt House Vineyard, where the perfect blend of heritage, innovation, and passion awaits. Savor our wines, breathe in the countryside's beauty, and experience the warmth of our family's hospitality. Let our story become a part of yours.
