About Castle Brook
Nestled in the picturesque Wye Valley, Castle Brook Vineyard is a family-run estate renowned for producing exceptional English sparkling wines. Building on our expertise as asparagus farmers at Cobrey Farms, we planted our vines in 2004 on an ancient Roman site. Our unique terroir, sheltered by the Black Mountains, benefits from warm westerly air and ideal soil conditions. We cultivate 21 clones of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay, crafting three traditional method sparkling wines: Classic Cuvée, Rosé, and Blanc de Blancs.
Our commitment to quality has earned numerous awards, including Gold Medals and Trophies at the Decanter World Wine Awards, Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships, and South West Vineyards Association. We partner with Ridgeview Estate, esteemed sparkling wine makers, to ensure our wines meet the highest standards. Our name, Castle Brook, originates from the ancient farmhouse, mentioned in the 1086 Domesday Book, and the Coughton Brook that flows through the valley.
