About East Meon Berrygarden
East Meon Vineyard is a family-run estate, conceived and nurtured by George and Clare Bartlett, along with their family. With the help of local volunteers during harvest, we meticulously tend to our vines, ensuring the highest quality grapes for our signature wine, Berrygarden.
Our grapes are crafted into exceptional English Sparkling Wine by the expert winemakers at Wiston Estate Winery. England's unique climate and long daylight hours allow for a prolonged growing season, resulting in wines with concentrated flavours and purity.
What sets us apart is our uncompromising approach to quality. We harvest our grapes in a single day, and they undergo pressing, fermentation, and elevation as a single, unblended batch. This meticulous attention to detail, akin to Grand Cru Burgundy production, is only possible on a small, family-run vineyard like ours.
