About Gwynfyd Mon
In 2020, my husband Gavin and I, Elin, turned our dream into reality by taking over the Ty Croes vineyard on Anglesey. Despite the challenges of a global pandemic and no prior experience, we were determined to support the local economy and create an exceptional experience for visitors. With the help of friends, family, and fellow vineyards, we learned the ins and outs of managing our 3-acre site and producing high-quality wines. Our vineyard specializes in cool-climate variety grapes, including Rondo, Regent, Solaris, and Seyval Blanc.
We released our first red wine in 2021 and have several other varieties in the pipeline. Our goal is to achieve national recognition for our produce and contribute to putting Welsh wines on the global map. We're proud of our journey so far and excited for what's to come.
