About Henners Vineyard

Henners is part of a global family of wineries with roots in France, Italy, South Africa, and New Zealand, drawing inspiration from our sister vineyards while embracing the distinct "Englishness" that makes our wines unique. Established in the early 2000s, our winery is nestled in the charming village of Herstmonceux, East Sussex, just five miles from the English Channel. Here, coastal breezes lend a crisp salinity and distinctive personality to our wines.

Over the years, we have expanded both our vineyard and winery, introducing new grape varieties and wines to our collection. We collaborate with a network of skilled vineyard growers across South East England, blending diverse terroirs and climates to craft exceptional wines every year. As one French winemaker poetically remarked, "If you are playing the piano with only three keys, you limit the tune you can play. By adding more keys, you create a more beautiful melody." Our growers and their vineyards are the extra keys, enriching the harmony of our craft.

Our mission is to create remarkable wines that complement your most cherished moments. We don’t aim for our wines to be the occasion, but to enhance it. As founding members of Sustainable Wines of Great Britain, we are committed to quality, innovation, and sustainability. From grape to glass, our team honours tradition while embracing modernity, producing award-winning English still and sparkling wines that truly resonate. Cheers to the memories!
