Josef Chromy is one of Tasmania’s most famous influential wine figures, having owned and developed some of the state’s most prominent wineries, including Rochecombe (now Bay Of Fires), Jansz, Tamar Ridge and Heemskerk vineyards. In 2007 he established the winery that would bear his name, which quickly became one of Tasmania’s leading wine producers.

A vibrant nose of zesty lemon, lime, and kaffir lime leaves, complemented by subtle hints of roasted fennel and bay leaves. On the palate, it’s juicy and refreshing, with lively acidity and a fresh, vibrant character. The wine offers excellent length and focus, with a pleasant texture and a hint of chalky minerality, adding depth and intrigue.
