At Kaiken, we are dedicated to creating exceptional wines that express our passion for excellence and the Argentine winemaking tradition. Our commitment to innovation and sustainability, aimed at capturing the spirit of our land, is deeply rooted in our DNA.
The Caiquén, a Patagonian wild goose crossing the Andes, inspired Kaiken's story. Aurelio Montes first visited Argentina in 2000, drawn by its vineyards and people, and by 2001 chose Mendoza as Kaiken's home. The winery itself dates to 1920, built by Italo Calise, originally producing olive oil, spirits, and tartaric acid alongside wine. Today it meets modern quality standards, with a 7-million-litre capacity across varied fermentation tanks (12,000–30,000L for small batches), 100,000L maturation tanks, and concrete vats. Over time, Kaiken has become a benchmark winery, combining tradition, innovation, and passion.
