About Wayford Vineyard
Nestled in the tranquil village of Wayford, on the Somerset-Dorset border, lies Wayford Vineyard. Born from a shared passion for viticulture, ten local couples embarked on an adventure to create a unique English wine.
In 2007, 3,500 Pinot Noir vines were planted, marking the beginning of our journey. Through dedication and teamwork, we tended to the vineyard, nurturing each vine to produce our award-winning Somerset Sparkling Wine.
Our wine's character is shaped by the natural variability of each vintage, influenced by the unpredictable English weather. We store and mature our wine on the lees, adding complexity and subtlety to each vintage.
